The project began with a mapping spreadsheet, listing all of the fields in SAP and what would need to be transferred through the connection. The complexity of Danone’s HR system meant that this process was lengthy, to ensure that all of the data fields were correctly mapped and labelled.
The Zellis team was then able to create the connector according to Danone’s exact needs.
The initial connector was tested extensively before rollout. With access to a test HR system and test Zellis payroll system, the Danone payroll team were able to run through all potential process scenarios and create an unlimited number of checks. All outcomes were reported back to the Zellis team so that the connector could be adapted accordingly.
Following testing, a successful parallel payroll run helped Danone begin to build confidence in the connector.
